Leg Day, today was my leg day workout and as I was walking up my stares bring in groceries I almost did not make it up the stairs haha. Let’s start to form the beginning of my day….Now yes being sore sucks! But it is an amazing feeling as well, to know that you worked your but off and it has paid off. Waking up this morning, as I lay in bed I pulled that stretch, you know that stretch you do while you are lying in bed not wanting to get out. Yeah, that one, and oh man I felt my body ache in soreness, but as I lay there hating it I also was loving it and could not wait to get out of bed and get my day going.
Now breakfast was once again a challenge. I had not gone to the store yet to get anything that I wanted to eat so once again it was forced down. Oatmeal that is. The rest of the day went well, I ate all my meals and ate healthy doing it. One thing I have not done well-doing is drinking enough water. I need to work on that one. But man it is so hard. Don’t you think?
Tonight’s workout was a leg workout. Leg Day, man oh how I hate leg workouts. I mean who really wants to work on their legs? That’s why when you go to the gym you see all these huge men and then you look at their legs and they are chicken legs haha. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about. But I did it and man it was hard and yes it did suck but I did it and I know it will be worth it in the long run. If I can never show off my stomach again due to stretch marks I will be able to show off my legs haha.
Yeah, you know what I’m talking about.
My Leg Day workout for today:
Squats (3 sets, 8 reps)
Horizontal leg press (3 sets, 8 reps)
The Butt Blaster (3 sets, 8 reps, both legs)
Leg extensions (3 sets, 8 reps)
10 different ab workouts (20 reps each)
.5 miles for a cool down
I cannot wait to wake up in the morning and do that stretch (yeah you know what I’m talking about) and feel all my hard work paying off.
